Switched Hosting

Last week I switched the web hosting for bluetoes.co.uk from the terrible free web space that comes with my plus.net broadband to my domain/email hosting company, 1and1.

The main reason for switching was the terrible ftp service that I was getting from plus.net. Very, very unreliable. Can't complain though, it was free. The new £2 (ext VAT) service from 1and1 seems 100% better so far. It's the bottom of the range package but you still a few handy features:

• A good email service with anti-spam and anti-virus
• A handy web statistics page
  
• Google sitemaps intergration
• Only 250mb of space and 3gb of monthly bandwidth though
